Terra di Vento
Our farm is spread over 60 acres in Monti Picentini Regional Park, between the splendid Gulf of Salerno and the hills outside of the city of Salerno. It is part of the Macchia Morese district, a product of the Agrarian Reform of the late 1970s issued for the purpose of liberating its undeclared productive potential.
Terra di Vento is a farming enterprise strongly devoted to the development and promotion of the terrain: the name of the business and of its products were in fact inspired by the characteristic areas in which it is surrounded by, names in turn which had originally been given to these areas by popular tradition.
The quality of our products is determined by our privileged geographic position, characterized by a mild and sunny climate and by chalky clay soils which nourish the vineyards and olive tree groves. Such distinctive natural features are complemented by careful innovation of manual deftness through all phases of our winemaking and production. Currently Terra di Vento produces Olio D.O.P. Colline di Salerno Settebocche and three wines: an Aglianico Petrale red, a rose’ also of Aglianico grapes and known as Tecla Madre, and a white fiano called Faiano, all categorized as IGT Colli di Salerno.
